I am a writer, an artist, and a Pacific Northwest native. My current project is AlmostFit.com, where I'm documenting the process of losing weight and improving my health using the principles of eating Real Food in Moderation. I've tried most of the major diet schemes with success - but it never lasts. I've decided that its time to take charge of my own health, figuring out what works best for me.
In addition to authoring several blogs and numerous Web sites, I have spent the last 10 years publishing possibly the most boring books that you've never read...those lovely pieces of disposable literature known as software programming guides. I am certified in a bunch of even less interesting computer science and security whatnots, and was the original writer of the official Xbox Developer's newsletter, X and the City, under the pseudonym The Xbox Cabana Boy.
